Patents and Intellectual Property Notice

1. Overview

This page is published by Sellfware to provide public notice, in accordance with applicable patent marking and virtual marking provisions, of the patents and patent applications owned by VJ Technology Ltd (the proprietor) that relate to the products, systems, and services offered under the Sellfware brand, including, without limitation, the secure storage system marketed as “VJ iStore”.

The information set out below is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. The list may not be exhaustive. Additional patents and applications may exist that are not listed here, and listed rights may be subject to further continuations, divisionals, reissues, or other proceedings. The absence of any patent or application from this page shall not be construed as a waiver of any rights of VJ Technology Ltd or its licensees.

2. Proprietor and Filing Strategy

All patents and applications referenced on this page are held in the name of VJ Technology Ltd. The portfolio relates principally to a secure storage system developed by the proprietor.

The proprietor initially filed a national application at the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO), and subsequently filed an international application under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), bearing application number PCT/GB2023/052551. The national and regional patents identified in Section 3 are derived from that international application, save where otherwise indicated.

3. Granted Patents

The following patents have been granted and are currently in force, subject to the timely payment of all applicable renewal, annuity, and maintenance fees in the relevant jurisdictions.

4. Pending Patent Applications

The following national and regional applications, each derived from international application PCT/GB2023/052551, are presently under examination. Each application is at the later stages of national or regional prosecution, with publication into the relevant official journal either imminent or with substantive examination being conducted by the appointed examiner. The current status and prosecution history of each application may be inspected on the official register of the relevant patent office.

Pursuant to applicable statutory provisions, including without limitation 35 U.S.C. § 154(d) in the United States, the proprietor reserves all provisional rights arising from the publication of the foregoing applications.

5. Registered Trade Marks

In addition to the patent rights described above, VJ Technology Ltd is the registered proprietor of the following trade mark, which is used in connection with the products and services offered under the Sellfware brand:

The trade mark is registered in respect of the following services in Class 37: Construction; Construction services; Building construction; Residential construction; Construction land developing; Construction of property; Construction of airports; Building construction services; Heavy engineering construction; Site preparation (construction); Civil construction services; Rail infrastructure construction; Construction of buildings; Buildings (Construction of —); Construction of motorways; Construction management services; Providing construction information; Construction of railways; Construction of tunnels; Civil engineering construction; Construction of roads; Aviation infrastructure construction; and Power infrastructure construction.

6. Notice and Reservation of Rights

This page is intended to satisfy the requirements of virtual patent marking under applicable laws, including without limitation 35 U.S.C. § 287(a), the Patents Act 1977 (United Kingdom), and equivalent provisions in other jurisdictions. The products and services offered under the Sellfware and VJ iStore brands may be protected by one or more of the patents and pending applications identified above, together with such other patents, applications, registered designs, trade marks, copyrights, database rights, and confidential know-how as may subsist from time to time.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Unauthorised manufacture, use, offer for sale, sale, importation, distribution, or other commercial exploitation of any product, system, method, or service falling within the scope of the claims of any patent listed above may constitute an infringement of the proprietor’s rights and may give rise to civil and, where applicable, criminal liability.
